Makes perfect sense but still makes for rough ‘practice’. Regardless, Sean Bisceglia from CURION was keen to put this into perspective – you can learn a lot – and maybe even more from defeats than you can from victories!
CURION is a sensory testing lab in Chicago where you can ‘test’ consumers reactions to new flavors, packaging, etc. and as a result, Sean see’s a lot of stuff that never sees the shelf or the store. But his advice was really that once you have a failure, you now have the proper way burned into your mind – and that increases your chances of success!
